Summary

Do brand-risks of greenwash allegations leave Corporate Sector (CS) engagement undesirable for IPPF – or would a strategic IPPF approach to CS engagement be good news for improving the rights of end-clients? Could a powerful alliance with CS top brands silence the conservative voice, turn the tide on nation-state underfunding, and strengthen diversification of MA funding? And is engagement the only way forward to hold CS accountable for existing rights’ violations – in line with IPPF’s aspiration to serve as rights-watchdog? To trigger debate and generate strategic direction to these questions, the roundtable leverages the experience of frontrunner MAs within the CS field.
