Dear IPPF,
After an incredible 18-month journey to design Strategy 2028, we have arrived at a special moment. At the June board meeting in Marrakech, Morocco, the IPPF Board signed off on draft 3 of Come Together: IPPF Strategy 2028. During their discussions, the board was grateful to the federation for the incredible engagement and inputs. They were also excited about the new direction we have collectively set.
Even though the strategy has been signed off by the Board, it will only become IPPF's strategy if and when the General Assembly approves it in Bogota.
However, Bogota is still many months away. In the meantime, we need to plan and budget for 2023-25. For this reason, the Board will put the strategy out for an indicative vote. The vote will allow Member Associations to indicate whether they endorse the strategy as it is currently formulated.

MA Indicative Vote on 20 July
The vote will open on 20 July and close on 25 July. It will be done electronically using the SurveyMonkey software.
All MAs will receive a voting link via the official email address on record.
Every Full Member Association has one vote – to be cast by the Board Chair / President or the Youth Representative attending the GA [Regulation 2 (4) (d) ]. In other words: one Full MA, one vote.
The vote will have two options:
- We endorse the strategy
- We do not endorse the strategy
There is also a mandatory field in which the MA should explain their reason for voting the way they have.
The results will be verified and posted on the MA Forum.
