Summary

Young people are more aware and in touch with the evolving world around them including the opportunities, challenges and the power they possess to collectively to affect their world. Around the world young people have continued to inspire and be at the centre of change within governments and the systems. With the population of young people expected to rise steadily by 2030, young people will be at the centre of change within the SRHR field.

For more than 30-years IPPF has relied on young people at every level of the federation thus the role of young people in steering the new strategic direction remains vital.

As such the youth roundtable will provide a platform for the voices of young people to be heard, deliberate on the role of young people in spearheading change in the SRHR field and how IPPF can empower youth-led change in the new SF.
